It would be entirely unjust were the burdens of the radical changes we now require to fall upon the working classes in a manner increasing inequality. The soil has given us the answer to our problems in non-engineered Whole Food Plants. It is not sexy, fun, exciting, SM-worthy. . .there will be no IPO’s, and it will not make investors wealthy. . .but it will save us all with equity.

However, this may take much more of a commitment than most folks are willing to make. Thus, as in the NYC specialized school case, it is not just about removing a test with radically inequitable outcomes, but (through CBO’s, innovative schools, religious institutions, revived civic institutions) in being willing to live in proximity to those who are struggling, love them, train them and hold them accountable out of love (as loving accountability is based on an absolute belief in the potential and ability of he/she/they being held accountable), so that they have the human capital to fully flourish.
